MAJOR SECURITY MALFUNCTION IN BIND 4 AND 8 CERT reports multiple serious vulnerabilities in that lynchpin of the Internet, the Berkeley Internet Name Domain (BIND) server, otherwise known as the DNS name server. The problems affect BIND versions 4.9.5 through 4.9.10, 8.1, 8.2 through 8.2.6, and 8.3.0 through 8.3.3.
