I wish I knew.  All we did was to change the program to adopt *yes .   We
are taking a step back and looking into.

30M to 831K, that's a HUGE compression ratio. I can't believe that is
possible unless that program has a great number of repeating strings.
Could
a CHGPGM make bound by reference into bound by copy?
