Mail Server Framework and Security Exit Point

Has anybody done any leg work in using the Security and Authority exit point
(QIBM_QZMFMSF_SEC_AUT) in AnyMail/400 to establish a log of messages being
sent from the AS/400?

Our company now has a variety of products (Gumbo/ASC's Esend/etc.) being
used to send email out.    I'm interested in the ability to recap usage:
who, when and how much.    Based on my limited experience, I'm not sure
about the relative advantages of using the exit point or the QZMF journal.

Any feedback from either approach would be appreciated.
