Hi Martijn,

There are a number of RPG IV Intro videos on YouTube but I can't speak to their quality.

We always recommend our customers to look at the training offered by imPower (https://impowertechnologies.com/rpg-class/) if that is too expensive, the textbook used for the course (and by most schools that teach RPG) is available for purchase here https://mc-store.com/products/programming-in-ile-rpg-fifth-edition or on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Programming-ILE-RPG-Jim-Buck/dp/1583473793/ref=sr_1_1

One advantage of the class is that your existing staff does not get tied up as much in the training as the instructor mentors the students throughout the course.

Hi all,

We recently hired some young(er) people that, as a change in career, will become developers in our company. We have acquired some training material from a Dutch company but that is somewhat outdated. I'm looking for up-to-date training material on the topics IBM i and ILE RPG, either as a (free) online course or as paid study books.
I would love to see your recommendations 🙂

TIA

Kind regards,
