waitrcd(*immed) should timeout immediately.

You say you have "the PF set" do you mean directly on the PF, or via
OVRDBF?

If OVRDBF, are you running a CLLE program, in what activation group? Where
does your ILE RPG program run?
You are running the OVRDBF before anything opens the file correct?
