In case anyone is interested, I started a post about using IBMi ACS automation to upload/download files to the IFS using the Data Transfer functionality.
Found an older Craig Pelkie Ocean presentation on this from wait for it...wait for it..... That's right: 2012.
ACS already luck 13yrs old. Where does the time go.
Documenting it for posterity in case someone wants to use this functionality.

I did this many years ago, both from an iSeries database to a Win PC within Excel and from Win PC Excel to a database in the iSeries. So, it's doable.
At the end of workday, the person in charge startet a job from his PC and updated his new data from Excel to the iSeries, where the DB got updated.
From the iSeries (with new data too), a job started at midnight and after end, both the Excel DB and iSeries DB were equal.
