If you're looking to download and upload from Google Drive, we have a suite
(GreenTools for Google Apps - G4G) that does all the nasty back end stuff
(OAuth 2.0 setup, renewal of tokens, etc) at https://www.bvstools.com/g4g.

There are addons for Google Drive, Calendar, GMail etc. We're always
willing to create new connections to the base as well.

In most cases Google does require OAuth 2.0 which means setting up an app
in your Google account, applying proper scopes, requesting a code to
exchange for a token (all which require an HTTPS callback), etc. So it's
not always as easy as just a simple HTTP request.
