Hello,

I use hexadecimal code in a sub-file only when I must build different line structures in the same sub-file. For a classic use, indictors in front of color attribute works.
I add hidden zone inxx to save *inxx status in the sub-file record. It is use to place *inxx = inxx; between read and update to keep it

Hello Javier,

I was saying so, an attribute accepts an indicator. Either you are not setting it on or you are setting it off somewhere else before the write.

Indeed. Another possibility might be that the desired indicator value is in the wrong DSPF column.

The use of the attribute byte on a display is for me more like tutorial than practical.

You've put this more politely that I have words for such a programming style. :-)

:wq! PoC
