Simple: Set the variable you use for SFLRCDNBR to the desired record number, and write the subfile control recfmt.

I have tried SFLCSRRRN but that does not seem to be the correct way.

Indeed, this is used for just retrieving the record number *where the cursor is located* upon a READ to the subfile control recfmt.
