Daniel, this file is output-only. It is never used for input. I'm
curious if there's any benefit to defining it as Input-Add as opposed to
Output (my original post was unclear on that). I assume that it's just a
quirk of the dev who wrote the code.
Alan, I must confess that I don't follow what you're saying. My best guess
is that you're explaining why you might want to use an output-only file in
general.
Javier, so you're saying it could be a roundabout way of handling blocking
(as opposed to the direct approach with the BLOCK keyword). I could see
that.
