I learned, that the DBGVIEW(*SOURCE) option of the CRTSQLRPGI command gives the SQL root source reference AND the *ALL option for the resulting RPGLE module.

So that it effectively results in *ALL for your compiled program.

So that's what we use right now.

Daniel

I've known about the COMPILEOPT parameter since it was introduced but never used it or understood exactly how it could be used. Perhaps because we use SQL SET OPTION in our SQLRPGLE source for various options? But I also never knew DBGVIEW was one of those options. (And why didn't IBM give us the *ALL option for that parameter on the CRTSQLRPGI command in the first place?) Wish I'd known about this a long time ago! Thanks Birgitta!

Have you tried to add DBGVIEW(*ALL) to the COMPILEOPT in the CRTSQLRGI Command?
