There really isn't any Darryl. Miniscule at most. ANd it would make the caode far clumsier and harder to understand.

It also would probably not fix the problem.

If you only have 3 elements in the Array, why not do away with the array and
simply define 3 data structures. Comparing 3 data structures to the main
data structure will be a lot easier and removes the overhead of an array.
