Subject: QUSRSPLA SPLA0200 Replacement?
A bazillion years ago I wrote my own spool file manager.
Basically when any spool file is created on the system, my process checks what I want to do with it.
This includes copying to PDF, Emailing, deleting or just leaving it alone.
I am reworking the process to be mult-thread.
The first thing it checks is if the spool file is still open or is no longer there.
I use the QUSRSPLA and format SPLA0200 to get the status.
Is there any replacement, like a SQL Service that can do that?
