Have you looked into RESPONSEHTTPHEADER ? What info do you get?

You can also try using TRY_CAST to varchar using different CCSIDs until you find the right one - maybe it's 1201 or 1208.

When casting BLOBs it's always some kind of guessing-the-right-CCSID game, because a BLOB column/variable has generally no CCSID - but the data in it (as long as it's text) sure has.
