Since IBM pays Google quite a bit of money one would think someone at IBM would be able to adjust the “outdated and unsupported “ commentary.

I’m guessing that’s quite a shock to Tim and company. Sadly amusing. Shows just how system prejudices just don’t go away.

Jack,

I wrote an app using Google APIs. Later they requested, for
authentication, that I create videos showing how it works. I did that, and
was approved.

Now they added another layer to remain approved with "CASA". From their
email on how to approve through CASA:

-

Follow the CASA Tier 2 procedures
<https://appdefensealliance.dev/casa/tier-2/tier2-overview> to self scan
your application
- Fix any high severity CWEs flagged by your scan
- Register <https://rc.products.pwc.com/login/casa/register> or log-in
<https://rc.products.pwc.com/login/casa/> to the CASA portal and
initiate your security assessment
- Submit your scan results and fill out the CASA questionnaire on the
portal
- Receive the results and validation report in the CASA portal
- The CASA portal will automatically share the Letter of Validation with
Google

None of these will work on the IBM i and my application. So it's like
asking a guy with no legs to do a long jump or he can't play poker.

I explained the platform and language and they told me since RPG is
outdated and unsupported, my app can't be approved.

Make more sense?

Brad, I found your narration hard to follow. Not sure what you were trying
to build and what Google had to approve about it.
If you write it up more clearly, maybe forward it to IBM people like Tim
Rowe.

I'm getting the runaround with application approval by Google.
