I have an RPG program that uses POI 3.12 to create a spreadsheet. Since it
uses POI, the CL sets environment variables before calling ILERPG.
This job runs in QBATCH. When the program runs by itself, it runs to
completion. When I submit multiple jobs to QBATCH in the same JOBQ [but
different jobs], I get a MCH5804 from the subsequent CL submissions [other
than the first] saying that one of the other jobs running in QBATCH has a
Lock on the RPG program.
I have never seen this before, but I am sure I have submitted the same
program to a non-single threaded JOBQ multiple times before, but not sure
if they contained POI or SQL.
We are running V7R3 and are fairly current on our PTFs.
Is there some compile option or SBMJOB parameter I need to take to make
the *PGM object readable by other jobs? I am not sure if this is related
to the POI or the SQL at this time.
Thank you,
Doug
