I have an SQLRPGLE program that needs to drop a column from a table. It is
getting an error because of the potential loss of data. I don't want the
job to error, I just want it to drop it.
The only ways I have found to handle this (via google searches) is to create
a temporary message file and set the default for the error message to "I"
but this just seems like an odd way to handle it.
Is there some other way that I and Google are not finding?
