Thanks Vern.
I don't have a need for it right now but filing the info you included for when I might thank you.
Heh heh. . . I TOO perused that services page... and became overwhelmed quickly so thought to ask Troy.
That said . . . I wont be submitting an RFE.
There is soo much good info in these lists, that when I notice something that might be helpful
to me in the future, I copy it into my notes, for possible future use. It's helped me MORE than once.
In fact -- Thanks to ALL for all the help provided over the years!!!
John

Subject: Re: list of devices and list of output queues
Hi John
I suspect there is not SQL service for config status. I did look at everything on that services page - briefly - and saw nothing that jumped out at me.
WRKCGSTS does have a *PRINT output option, which might be the easiest option now.
There is a regular API for it, QDCLCFGD. Carsten Flensburg has source example at https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://www.think400.dk/apier_4.htm*eks0007__;Iw!!JAIo9NhAvg!-S4GIAkjLRZcCpwnjV4dmUlUNYCNK4m1bOHVXp_AwMDZKdKD19XviNv0ISWF1h_H$ - also at https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://apimymymy.wordpress.com/2003/06/05/apis-by-example-qrzsche-and-qdclcfgd-apis/__;!!JAIo9NhAvg!-S4GIAkjLRZcCpwnjV4dmUlUNYCNK4m1bOHVXp_AwMDZKdKD19XviNv0IXpHWPrE$
QDCLCFGD has a way to specify you want to see on those things that are varied on. Carsten's example has much more, probably, than you need - you can take the user space processing stuff and adapt to your purposes, after you call the API.
So I suggest you submit an RFE for the future.
Cheers
Vern
