The other issue is that on the crash the line number of the program it
reports is something like 263943 and there are only a couple hundred
in the program. No where near what the system is reporting as the line
number for the error. So that may be a clue.
These statement numbers look like they were generated one, for the
automatically generated I-specs.
Are you really sure about the records? Maybe a „shift“ took place with a
new field inserted in the record and no file level check?
The only real chance seems to be debugging it, and setting some
breakpoints.
