Have a situation where a program is getting a record lock at 3am , not fun.
The file FIXISLC......
R RF$LC PFILE(LCP)
K LCWH
K LCPN
R RF$IS PFILE(ISP)
K ISWH
K ISPART
Have found that the lock occurs on the LCP file.
Tried coding in an INFSR, that stopped the error from happening but also
just stopped the program from doing anymore processing.
Its like it was stuck on the next *GETIN.
The code I added was...
FFIXISLC UP E K DISK INFSR(FIXINFSR)
F INFDS(FIXINFDS)
*************************************************
D FIXINFDS DS
D FIXSTATUS *STATUS
D*
D ErrRecLck C const(1218)
*************************************************
C*****************************************************************
C*
C FIXINFSR BEGSR
C*
C IF (FIXSTATUS = ErrRecLck)
C MOVE '*GETIN' ReturnPt 6
C else
C MOVE *BLANK ReturnPt
C ENDIF
C
C ENDSR ReturnPt
