Perhaps because there is no colon on ad_environment_id in the where statement.

subject: Embedded SQL issue

I've got a weird SQL problem. A static SQL statement in an RPG program returns an SQLSTATE of 02000 but when run from STRSQL (or run SQL
statements) I get a result.

I've verified the value of the host variable on the where clause and substituted that when running manually.

SELECT TIMEZONE_ID, DST_RULE_ID, SOURCE_LABEL, USE_DST_FLAG INTO :ID_TIMEZONE, :ID_DSTRULE, :s1Source, :s1UseDST FROM SDW_V/VIP_SOURCE JOIN envmstv5 ON source_code = ad_environment_id WHERE appdtaa_library = :CusLib FETCH FIRST ROW ONLY

Any suggestions?
