The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I don't know a link, but I did use CLI to advantage - you are able to
have more than one cursor open at a time, each time you allocate a
statement (I think, it's been awhile), you can get the cursor the system
is using. There is an SQLGetCursorName function that I think was
helpful. In other words, you can multiple cursors active on the same table.
I wonder where you heard that performance would be poorer, I'm
interested to learn about that, if it's true.
Cheers
Vern
