one other thing:

If wCurrent_date refers to the RPG variable wCurrent_date then add the
parameter marker ':' in from of wCurrent_date

exec sql values CAST(:wCurrent_Date as decimal(8,0))

into :wCur_Date_To;



exec sql values CAST((:wCurrent_Date - 7 days) as decimal(8,0))

into :wCur_Date_From;
