RE: Client APIs, axiscTransportFlush() vs. axicTransportSend()

Banning Scott's code from the shop is a lot like shooting your left big toe
off. You can live with it, but it makes very little sense.

I'll have a look at the HTTPAPI stuff, but I was following the examples set
forth for the IWS, which is where the question came from.

The server side is tested and running, that's good. Now we need to get the
client side going.

Since you're already using Scott's stuff (so it is not banned in your shop)
why not use HTTPAPI as well? Much bigger user community and (for me at
least) it feels more like RPG.

I find the IBM client stuff really clunky.

This is a POST request.



Then in one example the code:

Says it sends the request. In another example Nadir uses
axiscTransportSend():



rc = axiscTransportSend(tHandle: %ADDR(message):

%LEN(%trim(message)): 0);

if (rc = -1);

checkError('TransportSend()');

else;

flushAndReceivedData();

ENDIF;



So the question is, does axiscTransportFlush send the POST or do I
need to use axiscTransportSend?



If I read the information correctly the sequence should be:

Set the various properties as needed

Use axiscTranspoortSend()

Use axiscTransportFlush()

Use axiscTransportReceive()



One example just uses Flush the other one uses both.



So which is it?
