Re: c_ifs_open Problem

Have you tried to set the open ccsid to 1252, just to eliminate if there is
a iconv translation issue. files in 1208 with nation char like mine ÆØÅ
will in ccsid 1252 will not convert of cause.

Right, but this is why multiple people (at least Charles and myself,
maybe others) have asked you to look at the file contents as hex
codes, and I've specifically asked if you could share the first few
bytes' worth.
