Issue with JDBC_Connect -- RPG400-L

Hello everyone,

I am using jdbc to connect to remote mySql DB :

It all works properly on our standard system environment but when I connect
in our UK environment :

Language . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : ENG

Region . . . . . . . . . . . . . : GB

The connection no longer works.

The @ character in the connection string converts to § and the connection
fails ..

I have tried changing the ENVVAR ?LANG? to ccsid 273 but it still doesn?t
work.

How do I force java to use codepage 273

java.sql.SQLException: Access denied for user 'user'§'111.111.111.111'. This
should be 'user'@'111.111.111.111'
