From the select of the IFS you can find the position of your string
sql can read ifs check below example
SELECT * FROM TABLE(QSYS2.IFS_READ(PATH_NAME =>
'/home/MyFolder/test.txt'))
however your version of OS need to be on *Db2 for i* *IBM i* 7.4 TR3 or 7.3 TR9.
