So I have a cl doing a RCVJRNE and calling an exit pgm to process certain
journal entries...

RCVJRNE JRN(lib/jrn)

EXITPGM(lib/pgm)

RCVRNG(lib/jrnRcv)

ENTTYP(myListOfEntries)

DELAY(10 20)

FROMENT(0000000567)

For some reason when the exitpgm is called and the from journal entry seq
is compared to 0, it fails with a data decimal error.

When evaluating the journa seq# in the command in the CL it shows

567

When evaluating the journal seq# in the RPG exit pgm it shows...

= '??????????'

What is the issue with this? Appears the exit pgm is receiving an invalid
parm value despite the value looks just fine in the CLP just prior to the
RCVJRNE command being called.
