I would consider it an APARable situation if it didn't allow concurrent
access.

All,

Considering using a "permanent" user index (*USRIDX) as a cache for some
values retrieved from a web service call.

Question, does a user index support concurrent access/updates?

Specifically, can multiple jobs call the Add User Index Entries (QUSADDUI)
API at the same time?

It's marked threadsafe, so I suppose the answer must be yes. But there's
nothing in the documentation about how concurrency is handled.

I've never used a user index in this manner, so just looking for
confirmation that this should work fine.

Thanks!
