Try getting rid of the floating-point-ness as soon as possible. Don't forget to also use half-adjust, %INTH vs %INT.

bignum2 = bignum1 / %inth(10 ** 10);
dsply %char(bignum2);

DSPLY 77777777777777777777.7777777777
