Did you check whether you can get an exclusive lock in your job on the
table?
You cannot end journaling as long as the file is somewhere in use!

Were trying to remove the journaling of the access path on a DDS file.
This type of journal allows only for quick recovery when file breaks The
WRKF shows the access path "journaled" (thats how I read it) To try & remove
that journal we used ENDJRNAP FILE(lib/file) but errors out as described

Starting/Ending journaling a physical file/SQL Table will not remove any
access path.
Please be more specific where your access path is located (in the DDS
described physical file, in a DDS described logical file, in an SQL index,
in a primary or unique key constraint).
If the access path is in a logical file or a index, just delete the
appropriate database object.

Subject: Remove Access Path Journal on PF not journaled

Group,

We are trying to remove access path journal on PF using ENDJRNAP.

However, we receive the message the file is currently not journaled.

Were not sure how to get around this because the file is not journaled.

Can anyone throw out some ideas???

Error message: CPF7032

ENDJRNAP FILE(lib/file)

ENDJRNPF or ENDJRNAP command failed.

As shown by WRKF we have a file that is not journaled

File is currently journaled . . . . . . . . : No

and its access path not journaled:

Unique key values required . . . . . . . . : UNIQUE Yes

Access path journaled . . . . . . . . . . . : No

But has its "Implicit access path sharing" journaled?

Number of access path entries . . . . . : 40991764

Access path valid . . . . . . . . . . . : Yes

Implicit access path sharing . . . . . : Yes

Access path journaled . . . . . . . . : Yes
