Thanks Brad, that's exactly what I finally did, look at the spool file, and
found the problem in about 60 seconds.

I have found the original ILE Editor and SQL errors don't seem to jive
well.
I always have to go to the spooled file itself and look for the SQL errors
and solve those.
But as for other compile time errors, ILE Editor does pretty well.
