This is exactly why I didn't use the term "null-terminated". Because, in
RPG, when you say null you think of the *NULL literal. *NULL, %NULLIND,
etc are different from x'00'... So what you say below is not right.
*NULL is not = x'00'.
If you happen to know that the ASCII x'00' character is referred to as
"null", then the term null-terminated makes perfect sense, but many
RPGers don't know that, and don't realize that "null-terminated" just
means that the final byte of the string is set to x'00'.
Zero-terminated is not as widely used in documentation"null-terminated",
but it is used, and means the same thing. I though it'd be easier for
an RPGer to understand, because x'00' is zero.
