If you're talking about an actual *MODULE object, I believe the only thing
which would update the usage would be binding the module into a program or
service program. The actual *MODULE object is never touched for program
execution. I would venture that this is what you're talking about as I
don't' see where you could find a 'Last used date", etc. on the module
within a program or service program.

In our shop, we keep the *MODULE objects around should a program or service
program need to be regenerated. Then the old *MODULE object is used again. I
think our cross-reference software is aided by having the *MODULE objects
still around. You can actually delete them after binding them.

subject: RPGLE *MODULE, what will cause the "last used date" and "days
used count" to update?

some of my modules are showing these stats are updated, and some don't...

maybe if they are bound via service program or not?????

how can I tell?
