Some time ago I would look at the "Recommended" PTFs - there were often some that were not in a cume or group, IIRC.

This would be another trail to follow, along with what has already been suggested. And this is also useful for other kinds of PTFs.

You can search for RPG or SQL in the text field on the Fix Central web site then filter by release and click on Show fix Detail
https://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/ibmi/selectFixes?function=textSearch&text=rpg

Abstract/Description aint not much descriptive but im sure you can decipher some of them

Subject: Embedded SQL Precompiler

Hi All,

Does anyone know the right/best way to get the latest PTFs for the embedded SQL precompiler for RPG?

I'm already up-to-date on the latest group and cume PTFs for IBM i 7.4. (Including the ST1 group)

The problem I'm having is that the precompiler is inserting code in the wrong place in the program. It'll insert definitions, for example, after the main procedure and before subprocedures, where they aren't allowed. It makes it really hard to use this precompiler for anything.

I'm hoping the latest PTFs will fix it...?
