When i compile (as module) a source member the compile itself including the
SQL preprocessor goes just fine.

Then as I run the compile interactively I see a query running and the
compile fails with MSH4297

The description in the job log is ?Message . . . . : Binding specification
value not valid.

Cause . . . . . : A value within the binding specifications component was
in error.?

But when I copy the same source to another member name and compile that it
goes through just fine with no messages and creates the module.

Something appears to be locking the module name in the library I am
compiling in. The question is what it can be.

I hade a binding directory with the module name in it but I have deleted
that and tried again just in case. No difference.

I also created a new library and copied the source there with the original
name and tried compile. Same error.

In the new library I created a copy with a different name and compiled. This
compile worked.

So there is something very weird that is locking the module name in some for
me unknown way.

What on earth can that be??
