The message file program has four parms: line number, column number, message number, and an optional message text line. The column & line number parms set the location of the window. The utility program is useful across applications and is easy to implement and message texts are easy to maintain.

Thanks. I'm not sure how this approach can help me solve my problem, as described that setting ERRSFL for easy error message handling seems to be mutually exclusive with the standard error SFL in the last display line.
