Data Queues are pretty simple, they don't really include a commitment
control option. If you need things like commitment control and guaranteed
delivery once, then you need something more robust like MQ Series. That
also involves invoking the $pendMoney$$$ command.

Hi!

Is there a way to rollback the receiving of a mesage from a dtaq in case
the processing of the message leads to an error. Like the concept of
acknowledgement on other messaging systems.

i tried commitment control but it has no effect on sending and receiving
messages to a dataqueue. puting back the message to the queue is no
solution because when an unexpected error occurs commitment-control would
be the safer way.

i am using rpg and the qsnddtaq and qrcvdtaq apis.

Franz
