DSPSRVPGM will show you what procedures are available to you. And just to
be clear, you create the module first, then the service program. You don't
need the module object after creating the service program.

You also will need to know the prototypes for those subprocedures you want
to use.

Finally, I don't like seeing EXPORT(*ALL) on CRTSRVPGM. If you can, use
binder language so that if you do update the service program and the
signature changes you don't need to recompile everything using it. You
can make multiple sets of exports in the binder language so that older
programs will still use the old signature.

Here's a simple example:

Using the IWS wizard got me started using these two commands that create
a *SRVPGM and a *MODULE. OK, no problem. The IWS Wizard knows what to
do with them; she gives me the results I want for web consumption.

* CRTSQLRPGI OBJ(&O/&N) SRCFILE(&L/&F) SRCMBR(&N) OBJTYPE(*MODULE)
OPTION(*EVENTF) REPLACE(&R) DBGVIEW(*SOURCE)
COMPILEOPT('PGMINFO(*PCML *MODULE)')
* CRTSRVPGM SRVPGM(&L/&N) EXPORT(*ALL) TEXT('Service program for
web services')

Now I want to consume that same information in an RPG program and I can
make neither EXTPGM() nor EXTPROC() work.

It must be possible, right? So, is there a simple example somewhere I
can look at?
