As everyone else said, it is a new feature that requires 7.4

However, I don't see how it solves your problem.

1. because 'orders' is a subfield, you can't use a variable-dimension 
array for it, even 7.4

2. it still requires you to specify the maximum length of the array.  
Just like when you code VARCHAR(x) you need to know what 'x' is at 
compile time -- well, it's the same with DIM(*AUTO:x)...   the array may 
not always be the maximum size, but it does require you to specify the 
maximum at compile-time. You can't determine it at run-time.  (Though, 
you could simply set it to a really high number -- but you can do that, 
now.)

3. DATA-INTO does not set the length of arrays that use 
variable-dimensions, so you'd still need to use countprefix, et al.
