IBM's IWS wizard to deliver your data as a web service, in .json or
.xml, might be worth a look-see; it solves a lot of downstream problems
for you. The benefits might well be worth you considering a re-framing
of the problem.
I can't speak highly enough for Nadir's team's work. Now that I have
finally figured out the basics, I can deliver a finished .json based web
page report that users love in a couple of hours; so the need for
universal solutions has melted away.
