Bradley,

Many thanks and thanks for the article link as well.

Makes much more sense to me now !

Your suggestion works perfectly.

docNode = yajl_stmf_load_tree('/tmp/JLGCSKBAS.json': errMsg )
if errMsg <> '';
// handle error
endif;

node = YAJL_object_find(docNode: 'Fleet');

list = YAJL_object_find(node: 'Equipment');

Again much appreciated and have a great day.

Thx.

Scott

Check out this article series... there should be some help there:
https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.fieldexit.com%2Fforum%2Fdisplay%3Fthreadid%3D197&data=02%7C01%7C%7C582cd7299cb5426ea2db08d6f904dbcb%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C636970196590029415&sdata=giMDDzPLPLfJN4N0j94S%2F0hKTytk0jVf3BwlBoJnmGE%3D&reserved=0

From a quick look it looks like you''ll want:

docNode = yajl_stmf_load_tree( /tmp/JLGCSKBAS.json : errMsg );
0236.00 if errMsg <> '';
0237.00 // handle error
0238.00 endif;
0239.00
0240.00 node = YAJL_object_find(docNode: 'Fleet');
0243.00 list = YAJL_object_find(node: 'Equipment');

See how list uses "node" and not "docNode"?

Bradley thanks for the response !

I'm unsure how to do so.

The first YAJL_object_find (against "Fleet") returns a valid pointer.

I thought It was as simple as a second YAJL_object_find against
"Equipment". And then loading the array.

What am I missing ?

0235.00 docNode = yajl_stmf_load_tree( /tmp/JLGCSKBAS.json : errMsg );
0236.00 if errMsg <> '';
0237.00 // handle error
0238.00 endif;
0239.00
0240.00 node = YAJL_object_find(docNode: 'Fleet');
0242.00
0242.01 node = YAJL_object_find(docNode: 'Equipment');
0242.02
0243.00 list = YAJL_object_find(docNode: 'Equipment');
0244.00

Thx.

Scott

You need to set the pointer to Fleet first, then Equipment. Then you can
buzz through the array.

You can't go from the document root right to Equipment as far as I know.
