Hello
I use since long time the Scott Klement’s LIBFTP to send via FTP files. This time I have a problem with password that contains mixed case and special character i.e z5xP^#1*.
I used to store the info about the address and userid and pwd of the ftp server in an ifs file. Then I wrote a RPG program that after created the file that I have to send, read the file
with the info for the connection ftp, open the ftp connection and do the transfer. This time I received always that the password is incorrect.
If I try the ftp interactive I am able to login successfully. In debug I see that what my RPG program reads, and it seems correct but I am not able to connect succefully.
Maybe there is a problem with the CCSID’s file and the special character. The FTP server is Unix emulated by Filezille.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Mario
