I've got a Cycle update program that runs through a file, updating records based on values retrieved from two other files. It's a low-priority update, one that can and should be skipped in the event that it hits a record lock.
I seem to recall doing something like this before, but thanks to my aging grey cells, I can't remember how I did it. Can somebody point me in the right direction?
