Very nice. SAMEPOS will address a couple of use cases I've run into over the years.
Indeed. There are a zillion ways to overlay an array on a series of externally-described subfields, but none of them are as easy as using SAMEPOS.
Ok, there may not be a zillion ways to do it, but there have been a zillion questions posted to various forums asking _how_ to do it :-D
