We have Vertex O-series in house. Thus, I'm not familiar with any
of their cloud offerings. However, everything I've seen Vertex do is
XML-based -- SOAP or otherwise. I'd be surprised if they supported JSON.
Otherwise, yes, we use SOAP from our i-series but our network folks don't
(they do, however, use XML).
