I found the java source code of SQL Functions. But no instructions how to
modify and deploy them. Anyone played with it?

Its in a jar
file \\yousystem\QIBM\ProdData\OS\SQLLIB\bin\systools_java_source.jar

public void httpGetClobVerbose(String urlString, com.ibm.db2.app.Clob
httpHeaderValues, com.ibm.db2.app.Clob response, com.ibm.db2.app.Clob
responseHeader) throws Exception {
// for de-serializing scratchpad content
byte[] scratchpad = getScratchpad();
long charsRead;
charsRead = 0;

switch (getCallType()) {
case SQLUDF_TF_OPEN:
scratchpad[0] = 0;
setScratchpad(scratchpad);
break;
case SQLUDF_TF_FETCH:
if (scratchpad[0] == 0) {
InputSource httpHeaderXmlSource = null;
if (httpHeaderValues != null && httpHeaderValues.size() > 0) {
httpHeaderXmlSource = new InputSource(httpHeaderValues.getReader());
}
com.ibm.db2.app.Clob returnClob = com.ibm.db2.app.Lob.newClob();
com.ibm.db2.app.Clob responseHeaderValue =
com.ibm.db2.app.Lob.newClob();
try{
charsRead = RestUDFCore.httpRequestResponseClobInternal(urlString,

httpHeaderXmlSource,

null,

RestUDFCore.METHOD_GET,

returnClob.getWriter(),

responseHeaderValue.getWriter());
}catch(HttpUDFException ex){

if (ex.getErrorBytes() > -1) { // $A1
set(3, returnClob);
}
else {
set(3, (com.ibm.db2.app.Clob)null);
}
set(4, responseHeaderValue);

setSQLstate ("01H52");
setSQLmessage(ex.getMessage());
scratchpad[0] = 1;
setScratchpad(scratchpad);
return;
}

if (charsRead > 1) {
set(3, returnClob);
}else {
// no response received - set to SQL NULL
set(3, (com.ibm.db2.app.Clob)null);
}

set(4, responseHeaderValue);
scratchpad[0] = 1;
setScratchpad(scratchpad);

} else {
// indicate, that we're done - no more rows
setSQLstate ("02000");
}
break;
}

Try this:

While using following SQL function everything works fine if HTTP
Status
comes back with 20x status. Meaning responseMsg comes back just fine.

exec sql
SELECT ifnull(responseMsg,''),
ifnull(responseHttpHeader,'')
INTO :responseMsg, :responseHdr
FROM table( SYSTOOLS.HTTPPOSTCLOBVerbose(
:gtokenURL,
:gtokenHeader,
:clobfldx )) as InternalURL;

When HTTP status comes back wtih 40x or 50x responsemsg doesn't comes
back. Any idea why and if there is any solution / update for it from
IBM?
