I got a little hung up on your use of "json coding" because it makes JSON
sound like a programming language. JSON is really a way of formatting text
in a way that enables utilities to generate JSON from programs, and
utilities for parsing JSON and mapping it to data structures and data that
can be referenced in programs. Think of JSON as formatted text. Simple
standards define how it must be formatted in order to be valid. Don't think
of JSON as a programming language.
I gather that your question is really about what utilities you might use to
generate JSON on one hand, or parse and map it on the other.
