so fixed it by simply re-typing the lib's in the config script, saving, and
restarting server.

now I CAN get a hit on my wsr00000.pgm and the only thing reported in the
error log is...

MESSAGE NUMBER 1542 IS UNKNOWN

anyone know what this is?

so all my errors point to...

CORRECT FOR CGI /QSYS.LIB/YAJLREST.LIB/WSR00000.PGM:
/.LIB/YAJLREST.LIB/WSR00000.PGM

In my http server config script I have...

SetEnv QIBM_CGI_LIBRARY_LIST “YAJL;YAJLREST”

so,

1.) what is with the funky char's in the log message
2.) what is the solution?

Look in the general settings tab in the general server configuration
section. Go to the server root directory, and then drill down to the log.
If you kept the defaults it will be /www/SERVERNAME/logs/ so wrklnk '/www'
should get you started.

how do you access the error log on the http server?

Under my server and logging and then the error log tab i have this
specified...

logs/error_log

if I try to access like the following, i get a Not Found error

http://serverIP:port/logs/error_log

Thanks. But that’s just not the way we did it last time. We did not
like the overhead overall of how the webservices were deploying when
using pcml.
My last yajl rpg pgms allowed 2 simple string parms without the use of
pcml and were called directly from the http endpoint configuration.

Thanks

should do it. Also, depending on version, you may no longer need it.

I just tried that route as well but lost me on the pcml requirement.
Not wanting to go there. Is there a way around that?
