Then you could use something like Bootstrap 4 (with some js handled by jQuery) within your cgi application.
Be careful tying your application to jQueryUI - which while well used seems to have gone dormant.. see GitHub blogs on that.
There is nothing webserver dependent in strictly javascript and css frameworks that Apache doesn't handle.
Bootstrap and jQuery are the two frameworks with the largest deployment around the world for active websites.
I know your original request was for examples, but I have nothing I can share.

Typo ... I meant you don't need anything other than ILE.

Most program logic is or should be in service programs and the easiest way to use procedures from service programs is by using an ILE language.

I am not entirely clear on what you are saying here? What is the
objection to relying on the RPG we write everyday to serve your data?

(I have been struggling with the IWS Wizard since July, but that's me,
nothing more. Now that I have pounded the simple stuff into my head
and am moving on to the not-so-simple stuff, I am becoming enthused
about the simplicity of providing JSON data to a web service with
nothing more than a parameter out. It took me a long time to realize
it was not my task to balance the parens & braces.)
